SIS offers the most comprehensive line of futon and pillow covers. With over 400 fabrics to choose from, there is somehing fo everyone. Your futon cover is important for several reasons. It provides protection for your mattress. It can be easily removed and cleaned. It makes for easy decorating -- choose from hundreds of styles. It's economical -- when you want to change your style, simply change your cover.
Loft - standard loft is 6", we make custom size covers for futon mattresses that are less than 5" or more than 8" thick.
Closure - full and queen covers have a three-sided zipper closure, loveseat, twin, chair and ottoman covers, a two-sided zipper closure
Special Constructions - most of our covers are constructed with the fabric all arond the cover, we do make several other constructions
PIPED: add piping to any SIS cover. The piping runs around the box edge on both sides of the cover. The zipper closure is hidden along two of the edge-seams on the back. NOTE: queen size piped covers have a seam down the center because upholstery fabric is only 54" wide. Choose your piping from any SIS fabric.
BOX Style: this construction is the same as a piped cover without the piping
FRONT only: the pattern is on the top surface only with a contrasting loft and back. Due to fabric width restrictions, this construction is avaiabe in all sizes except queen size, which is inlayed in the contrasting fabric like a picture frame
END CAPPED: the pattern is 52" wide and centered on the front of the cover. There is a contrasting fabric on each side of the front, loft and back. Available in full and queen only. Matching chair, ottoman and loveseat covers are made as Front only.
RAILROADED: if the standard direction of a pattern needs to be changed, the cover should be railroaded. The fabric is turned, seamed and matched as well as we can, but due to weaving variations it cannot always be matched precisely.
